car sketches

car drawings are really hard for me.......I actually enrolled in an intro to transportation design class in the art center at night program........i sat thru the first session and thought the class was too slow for me.....the instructor made us drew boxes, cubes, cylinders, and spheres for three hours....for homework, we were suppose to do ten more pages of the same thing......for the second meeting, we were suppose to learn how to shade them.....that's when i decided this class was not for me.....don't get me wrong....i am a true believer in learning the basic...the problem with that is i learned that stuff over ten years ago....so i dropped the class......this is my attempt to learn by myself.......

been really sick for the last few days....i actually watch more than five hours of TV on Saturday because I was trying to get some rest......haven't had too much energy to draw.....

For those of you who remember Ritmo charcoal pencils.....they are the best charcoal pencils....they discontinued the original ones and have a new kind that doesn't work as well...When I found out they were being discontinued. I went out and bought a dozen boxes. This was about 8 years ago. I might have a box laying around somewhere. I forgot how difficult it was to draw with these, but really fun to use.

Princess and her palace

For the last few weekends, my brother in-law (Mike) and I redesign my niece's room. We are both really happy with how the room turned out. A matter a fact, we worked so well together, we decided to go into business together. We will focus on kid's room at first, and see what happens.

love them horchata drinks....earlier this week, i trim some paper, and had alot of left over scrap....figure, i can use them for sketching......i kinda like the long thin format....

very fun session.....i went out and bought a copy of crouching tiger, hidden dragon and watch it just to get some inspiration. i'm a sucker for kung fu movies....sword fights, kung fu moves, hmmmmm....pretty girls.......what's there not to like....

Creatures are fun to drawing...I find them easier than animal drawings, because you can do anything you want.
